It turned out to be a festive day, the Graduation Day at Papaya School. 30 students experienced their last day at the school; a festive and also emotional day where the students gave a special performance for their parents, guardians and others present. The pupils sang 'This is me' by Keala Settle. How beautiful that was!
"I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies, this is me"
22 of the 30 students receive an Apple scholarship after their holidays to continue learning at the high school of their choice. The remaining eight students have home situations where further learning is arranged differently. For instance, there are students where one of the family members has gone abroad to work and contribute to their studies.
Of course, not only the 22 scholars, but also the other eight continue to follow!
